Getting Started
Arc Trace has two tiers of access. Arc Explorer is free and requires no wallet, no account, and no payment. Advanced intelligence in Arc Terminal is unlocked through a wallet-based subscription paid in USDC on ARC Mainnet.
This page covers what you need, how the subscription flow works, and what the Access Pass does and does not grant you.
What is free
You can use Arc Explorer without connecting anything:
- Search and discovery across tickers, contracts, issuers, wallets, transactions, and networks
- Canonical contract labels and scam-token warnings
- Issuer, underlying asset, legal structure, and jurisdiction
- Supply, mint, burn, transfer, and holder activity
- Oracle provider, reference price, market price, and deviation
- Liquidity venues, trading volume, and market depth
- Distribution history and upcoming corporate actions
- Cross-chain representations and bridge exposure
- A transparent, methodology-backed basic risk score
If the Explorer answers your question, you do not need a subscription.
Prerequisites for Terminal
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Wallet | Any EVM-compatible self-custody wallet |
| Network | ARC Mainnet |
| Payment asset | USDC on ARC Mainnet |
| Gas | ARC Mainnet's native gas token — confirm the current ticker and parameters from official ARC documentation before funding a wallet |
Always add and verify ARC Mainnet network parameters from the official ARC Mainnet documentation rather than from a third-party site. Phishing networks and spoofed RPC endpoints are a known attack pattern.
Subscription flow
- Connect an EVM-compatible wallet to Arc Trace. Arc Trace never takes custody of your assets, and never asks for a private key or seed phrase.
- Select a monthly or annual terminal plan.
- Approve and pay the stated amount in USDC. The payment goes to the onchain Subscription Treasury.
- Receive a non-transferable Arc Access Pass. This records your access permissions, activation time, expiry, API allowances, and feature entitlements.
- Use premium features until the subscription expires or is renewed.
Plans
| Plan | Indicative price | Primary audience |
|---|---|---|
| Arc Explorer | Free | Public users researching assets and contracts |
| Arc Pro | 29 USDC / month | Individual investors and analysts |
| Arc Trader | 99 USDC / month | Active traders and professional users |
| Arc Institutional | Custom | Funds, issuers, wallets, and financial applications |
These prices are indicative and are expected to change. They have not yet been validated through user testing. Treat the table above as a design proposal, not a committed price list.
About the Access Pass
The Arc Access Pass is a non-transferable record of entitlement. It is non-transferable specifically to reduce unauthorized resale and account sharing.
What it grants you:
- Access to Terminal features included in your plan, until expiry
- API allowances associated with your plan tier
What it does not grant you:
- Any ownership claim on Arc Trace, the ARC token, or any revenue stream
- Any equity, profit share, dividend, or governance right by itself
- Any interest in the underlying assets that Arc Trace indexes
Where your subscription payment goes
100% of retail terminal subscription revenue received in USDC is used to buy ARC from the open market and permanently burn the purchased tokens. The full mechanism, including how operating costs are funded separately, is described in Protocol Mechanics.
Paying for a subscription creates market demand for ARC and permanently reduces supply. It does not guarantee price appreciation. Do not purchase a subscription as an investment in ARC. Purchase it only if the Terminal product itself is worth its price to you.
